Welcome to Mockingbird Cabin! New from top to bottom, our home is the perfect spot to take advantage of Central Oregon's limitless activities. Although we have a Bend address, our home is just 7 minutes from Sunriver Resort. It's not in the thick of things but just minutes away if you want them. Fishing, skiing, snowmobiling, hunting, boating, biking, hiking -- just some of the activities to keep you busy, or just kick back, relax and enjoy the peace and quiet! Plenty of room to park your boat or ATV trailer close to the house. Our home is newly remodeled by my general contractor husband and features many of his personal touches throughout, demonstrating his vision and creativity: the reclaimed rustic-torched trim; cedar shake wall in the dining area; natural live edge slab on the kitchen, bathroom and bar countertops; rustic barn tin behind the wood stove; and the recycled barn wood wainscotting. He also made the fun maple burl slab coffee table, the doug fir dining table and kitchen prep table with a black iron pipe base. Our home sits on just over an acre on a quiet dead end street with few neighbors. Access off of Hwy 97 is a breeze. We are 7 minutes from the Village at Sunriver Resort, approximately 20 minutes from the Old Mill District and downtown Bend, and approximately 30 minutes from Mt. Bachelor Ski Resort.
